Let me explain the title to all those devoted fashion followers who are probably tutting. I am normally a Haute Couture and luxury end of ready-to-wear fashion fan. The last few collections produced by gucci were very disappointing to me, so when I saw their new adverts and shops I started paying more attention. Personally I am a fan of the body con look, and Gucci has started playing with this concept. Their new boots are amazing, and the sophisticated cut and colour palette looks flattering on anyone. Granted there's not as much going on, but sometimes the more simple things can be the more beautiful! Added to this their new ad campaign's styling complements this further. Today is a hectic day again. Technical appointments all day to choose and make a toile for the embroidery project for my appointment on Thursday. Then Textiles seminar at 12.30-2 followed immediately by modelling 2-4 ish! After all this I imagine it will be me making this dress for most of the evening.
Finally thought I should also mention my new Vogue issue I got yesterday through the post. Great article on curvy body con outfits, modelled by Lara Stone, (not usually my favourite model) however, she is far more curvaceous than I initially thought and suited the outfits and article well. A few outfits in there which I am interested in and will probably end up making!!! I think a trip down to Goldhawk Road is in order.
