Hello!
So today consisted of a trip to the lovely little city of Winchester on the south coast. Not only is it a beautiful city made up of old buildings and cobbled streets, but it also features a fantastic market, selling produce from the local area. Some market stalls to note are the delicious continental cheese stand, a fantastic florist (gorgeous bouquet of 12 large red roses for £10) and a great green grocers with fresh fruit and veg including some more exotic varieties.
The bridge patisserie is most certainly worth a visit, and is located at the bottom of the hill next to the river. We are happy to see that it has been extended to accommodate the growing fans of this cafe. Every time we visit Winchester we have lunch at the Bridge Patisserie and afterwards take away some cakes for later. The temptation just seems too great! All of the food, cakes and bread is made on site and includes a sneaky selection of truffles for all you chocoholics. If you visit the patisserie you must try the lemon tarts- the pastry is heavenly!

Winchester also plays host to some lovely interior furnishing shops. We were spoilt for choice with the sheer array of cushions, lamps and general nik-naks, which were all presented in lovely colour schemes. There are far too many boutiques and shops to name, but I am really happy to say that there are plenty of independently owned shops each with its unique signature.
Below are some images of what we liked today, enjoy!
