Tailored, Sleek and Well Cut...

So we have progress. Locked away in the studio creating a whole selection of new blocks and templates for this collection. We have decided to have our dream models and muses for the collection Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Doutzen Kroes measurements as the basis for our blocks and sizings- cool eh? Well the next step is to give you a clue of what is set come in the next couple of weeks- we have a few autumn/winter pieces which will be followed by a full spring/summer collection to follow.

Here's what's on our pin board at the moment, so enjoy!

Colour is King

As all creatives know, colour is what makes the world go around. In fashion, this is no different and the choice of colour scheme can literally make or break a collection. So at LOLO rather than speculate what colours will be in next year, or what colour should we be wearing right now, we rather look at what colours suit us and what schemes we like. It is important to remember that a good classic can be made contemporary by a tweak in colour and that is exactly what we strive for at LOLO. So here's a few inspirational images where colour is king (courtesy of the good folk at Cool Hunter) that we currently have up on the studio wall. If you are feeling inspired or fancy making a colour scheme of your own check out: http://www.colourlovers.com and post a link to here of your work. Leave you comments below and don't forget to share us on twitter, google plus and Facebook!

It's all Child's Play!

LOLO has been a little quiet recently (not without good reason), we have been busy beavering away in the studio starting a small collection of children's clothes. Nothing to bog at the moment as we are still getting used to sewing for little people, but the ideas are coming thick and fast! There will be a photo shoot in the coming weeks of some bits and bobs but in the meantime we have trawled far and wide for some great children's clothing and theme ideas. As we mentioned before we would love to do a collaboration with the Graphic Designer Jane Ornes as her prints would look simply divine on children's clothing!

Running alongside the children's range (LITTLE LOLO) and the bridal service we will also be adding a bridesmaid service to accompany our existing wedding offerings! How very exciting...

Well without further a do feast your eyes on these cuties!

I want one of those!

Have you ever found yourself saying that? Well you are not alone! Here at LOLO it's not only fashion that finds us sitting with eyes wide open whispering "I want one of those" but also gadgets, accessories, property, food and general odds and sods. Well here's a selection of what we think will be the must haves for the rest of this year.

So add your comments below, and if you think we have missed something then let us know!
These are super induction rollers which heat up in 4 seconds and makes those hollywood styles really easy. Like this one:

For anyone out there who has difficulty getting to sleep or waking up tired this may be for you- this radio alarm clock lulls you to sleep with lullabies, relaxing music and white noise and gently wakes you up with a sunrise and bird song. This can be particularly useful with the northern hemisphere winters that are so dark in the mornings making your natural body clock redundant. Many are on the market but this particular one is from John Lewis.

Now these are cool! A dishwasher drawer and a cool drawer. An elegant and modern way to integrate kitchen appliances seamlessly in to units- GORGEOUS. These are made by the good people at Fisher and Paykel and incorporate loads of options such as accurate temperature settings and adjustable racks in the dishwasher.

The Apple Thunderbolt display allows you to connect up your Macbook or your IMac to a 27in widescreen with a high speed cable for instant streaming and ideal for photo or video editing. Here it is shown with a it's own server for those larger projects but no delays in uploading or moving from project to project.

Now this is a cool idea if you have limited garden space or work full time. Here's a self maintaining garden which runs without soil with an oxygenated water system. It's called the AeroGarden and can be set up for flowers, herbs or vegetables and we think it is a welcomed addition to the modern kitchen.

A gorgeous swimming pool- need we say more??

A great idea for a compact home office. Lovely use of space here and in fact adds to a room rather than creating an eyesore!

A gorgeous art clock here. Unfortunately we can;t find the maker but when we do we will let you know.

Queen Elisabeth's tiara. Yes tiaras are making a comeback. Not necessarily in everyday wear but they can be adapted to make bracelets and necklaces in a more contemporary yet traditional look.

What's got LOLO hot under the collar?

As many of you are aware the creative brain never manages to switch off. Even when watching TV in the evening to wind down and just walking through the streets of central London you can't help but come up with new ideas and designs. Well, that's true but other times you spot things made by other brands and designers which you fall in love with- that's what makes us all human! So here's a round up of some gorgeous pieces we spotted last night whilst flicking around online. We hope you like them too.
